Building a Place Where Rent Doesn’t Break the Bank

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what a rental community should feel like. Not just four walls and a parking lot. Somewhere you actually want to come home to.

That’s why I started Pinecrest Eco‑Nest.

Rent that makes sense

We all know the feeling. You find a decent place, but the rent eats up half your paycheck. Or the landlord keeps raising it every year with nothing to show for it.

I wanted to do something different.

At Pinecrest, the rentals are priced so a small family or someone running a local business can actually afford to live here. Studios, one‑bedrooms, two‑bedrooms – nothing fancy in price, but the quality is there. Fully furnished. Move‑in ready. No hidden fees.

Small business, big welcome

One thing I kept hearing from people is how hard it is to find a rental that also lets you work from home – or run a small business. Landlords get nervous. Neighbours get annoyed.

So we designed units that can be used as a therapy office, a hair studio, a tutoring space, a small retail shop. Separate entrances where it makes sense. Quiet hours that respect everyone. A place where your work doesn’t have to hide.

Families first

For families, the worry is different. Schools, safety, space to play. And not having to choose between rent and groceries.

Our two‑bedroom units give room to breathe. There are shared gardens where kids can run around. Walkways instead of parking lots. Neighbours who actually say hello.

Food grown right here

We also have an indoor farm – no pesticides, no soil, just fresh greens and fish raised on site. It’s not a huge operation, but it means residents can get real food without driving across town.

Solar on every roof

Every home has solar panels on top. That helps keep utility bills lower, which means more money stays in your pocket. Simple as that.

Come see for yourself

Pinecrest Eco‑Nest is still coming together, but the vision is clear: affordable rentals for families and small businesses, in a community that actually cares.

If that sounds like where you want to live – or work – drop me a line.
